Programme Associate (Research) at the Oxford China Policy Lab, researching China's AI governance and development and the broader socioeconomic implications of AI. Holds a Master's in Social Science of the Internet from the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford. Concordia AI affiliate. Notable published work includes analysis of China's AI registry system and the AIGC algorithm filing dataset for ChinaTalk ('China's AI Landscape: a free-for-all, not a central plan', 2026), and investigation of China's proxy economy for accessing Western AI models ('How to Buy Cheap Claude Tokens in China', ChinaTalk 2026). Research supported by the Tarbell Center for AI Journalism. Previously covered China's humanoid robot policies and Singapore's role in the US-China AI competition.
